SOLAR ELECTRIFICATION OF last mile himalayan villages

We are raising funds to bring light to remote mountain villages in Jumla, Nepal. Our goal is to raise $75,735 to complete the solar electrification of 153 homes in by 2026. 3 women from Jumla have completed their 5-month solar training program in India learning how to assemble, install, and maintain solar equipment. These trained Solar Engineers will be responsible for electrifying a minimum of 50 households each using solar home lighting systems, lighting up lives for over 1,450 people.

Digital and financial literacy training for women in Nepal

We are also raising $8,500 to train 12 women in Madhesh Province, Nepal with digital and financial literacy, opening doors to opportunity, confidence, and independence. They’re being trained using an app-based training complemented with a peer-to-peer learning method. These women will graduate as master trainers and will be training over 100 women from other marginalized communities in the province, bridging the digital & financial divide.
